60. A Valentine Wish

This poem was writeen by me for you,
To help me carry out something I've been planning to do.
You see I'm really shy deep down inside,
And I really don't know why.
It's probably because you're quite a special guy.
I've noticed you for quite a long time,
And sometimes wondered if you'd ever be mine.
I've thought and I've wondered.
I've sat and I've pondered.
And decided to go through with all this.
If you have a girlfriend, please disregard this letter
'Cause it won't make things any better.
As all things must eventually come to an end
I only ask that you don't show this to any friends.
So, I guess what I'm trying to say is:
Will you be my Valentine?
(And go out with me - perhaps next Friday?)
