228. Awake

I fall asleep while
lying in bed -
My head filled with
thoughts of you.
As my mind falls into
a deeper sleep,
Drifting away from any
sense of reality -
You become more and
more real,
More vivid, more alive.
Your face is smiling at me,
Your eyes sparkle and
shine.
You come over to me,
Put your arms around me
and lie down.
I feel your warmth and ...
That buzzing sound awakes me -
And I find that you are gone.
