I never thought it could be,
The first time I saw you.
Up there on that stage,
You looked like an angel
Then later on when I met you,
I was in heaven.
Your smile was so great, it made
me smile too.
Your amazing good looks made me melt
and my knees felt so weak.
Your kindness was unbelievable;
Your humour made me laugh.
I knew you were the one.
When it was time for me to go,
We smiled and said good-bye.
Walking away (on a cloud) my smile
turned to a frown,
Thinking how I'll never see you again,
And wishing it weren't true.
